Brew the perfect cup of low grown Sri Lankan tea with neesh Spice. Enjoy as is or add milk and sugar/sweetner to your liking for a warm, comforting drink that will give a gentle, lasting boost of energy to get through the day.

Ingredients (Serves 1)
  • 1 tsp low-grown Sri Lankan black tea
  • a pinch of cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves
  • 1 cup water (8 oz)
  • Optional: 1–2 tsp milk (or non-dairy alternative)
  • Optional: 1 tsp sugar, honey, or sweetener to taste
Equipment:
  • Small saucepan or kettle
  • Teapot or heat-safe cup
  • Fine mesh strainer (if using loose tea)
  • Spoon
Instructions:
  • Boil Water: Bring 1 cup of fresh water to a rolling boil (around 200°F/93°C) in a saucepan or kettle.
  • Prepare Tea: Place 1 tsp of Ceylon tea and 1/4 tsp of Neesh Spice in a teapot or heat-safe cup. If using a teapot, warm it first by rinsing with hot water.
  • Steep: Pour the hot water over the tea and spice. Stir gently and let steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on desired strength (3 minutes for lighter, 5 for robust).
  • Strain: If using loose tea, strain into a cup using a fine mesh strainer. If using a tea bag, remove it.
Customize (Optional):
  • For a classic touch, add 1–2 tsp milk and stir.
  • Sweeten with 1 tsp sugar, honey, or your preferred sweetener, adjusting to taste.
  • Serve: Enjoy hot as is for a pure, aromatic experience or with milk and sweetener for a comforting, creamy cup.
Tips:
  • Use fresh, high-quality Ceylon tea for the best flavor.
  • Adjust spice quantity to taste; Neesh Spice should enhance, not overpower.
  • For a stronger brew, increase tea to 1.5 tsp but keep steeping time the same to avoid bitterness.
  • Sip slowly and savor the warm, energizing boost!
